Fantastic pub, best carvery ever, if never been make the effort you can’t fault the food or the staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel with distant sea views and plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and efficient, food was good. Room was comfortable. What could be improved - internet and TV reception is not great, water pressure for a shower is very low. It is down a very narrow lane and if you meet a car (or even worse a truck) coming the other way you may need to reverse. Probably a lot better in summer than November as you could enjoy the patio

We stayed here for my partners birthday weekend & so pleased we found this gem of a place. Approached via a very narrow lane but well worth the experience as on arrival in the car park you just know it’s going to be a very warm, welcoming hotel. It’s very olde world so if you’re looking for ‘boutique’ then not for you, but it’s the type of place we love. All the staff are lovely, the beds are super comfortable which was a bonus for me as I’ve never found a good bed whilst we are away. Breakfast is a good choice of both continental & cooked, scrambled eggs were delicious especially. They have a lunch time bar menu & an evening restaurant menu or you can just relax & enjoy a drink in the cosy bar area. The hotel is dog friendly , we didn’t encounter any disturbance from the few dogs that were staying. Our only downside was very poor TV reception in the room we had, we had to watch on either ITV X or BBC I player, hopefully the hotel, will resolve the issue. We will certainly be staying again as we enjoyed every minute, hopefully we will have better weather next time but that’s the chance we take.

Our 6th visit to this wonderful hotel and everything was as memorable as usual. We were welcomed with open arms by all staff. The owner had also upgraded us to our favourite room, which was very well received and a very warm and kind gesture. The breakfasts were totally delicious with plenty to choose from and all cooked items were fresh, hot and well presented. We chose the 3 course dinner menu each day for our 4 night stay and every meal was excellent - well above the 3* rating. For the main courses, there was always a fish, vegetarian and 2 meat courses each evening and we have never been disappointed with our choices. The food is absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend this dinner menu. The service in the hotel is very friendly and each staff member go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We spent our days walking the coastal path, visiting the beach, a trip to Lyme Regis and just relaxing. I would highly recommend a stay here.

My wife and I have been visiting this hotel for over 40 years although we missed a few years due to covid. We returned this year to find it had changed hands again. The new owners have made several changes most of which we liked including the addition of 4 new downstairs rooms. Ours was double aspect with a good view of the village and the sea and surrounding fields. The kingsize bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. The food was excellent and attractively presented. The undoubted stars of the show were the staff who were warm, welcoming, and worked tirelessly to ensure we had a good time. In particular I feel that Abbie, Cora, Hollie, and Shannon deserve special mention. Sadly we do not have time for another visit this year.

Excellent well run hotel. The staff are so friendly Holly, Shannon Abbie and Cora thank you for all your help. Food was home cooked and the walk to West Bay makes it a great location for all those walkers out there. The rooms need an update but great tea and coffee.

A most enjoyable mid-week Autumn break with 4 other couples. Rooms were very comfortable with excellent views across Lyme Bay. The hotel staff were most accommodating, charming and very helpful. They provided an excellent facility for showing our old films via DVD after dinner in their lounge. PS It may be worth checking the central heating timer as the radiators came on at odd times of day!

A really nice stay and all the staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was good although a little dated but to be fair it's a small grumble. The water pressure in the shower was poor. The food was good and we enjoyed the breakfast. The area in general though is spectacular and this hotel is a great base to walk the cliffs over to West Bay and a stones throw from the lovely Bridport. A really enjoyable stay.

Another beautiful weekend at the Eypes Mouth Country Hotel. Wonderful staff- from the manager (I’m so sorry, I don’t remember you name) who served us breakfast, to all the girls in the team who were so friendly and helpful all weekend, but particularly to Abbie who has sorted out all our bookings and always makes us feel so welcome. Our room was really beautiful, as was the whole hotel and the food delicious as always. We look forward to seeing you all again in February.

Very quiet, comfortable hotel with attentive staff and free car parking. Ideal spot for touring the Dorset coast, with several attractions nearby, or you can walk a short distance down to the beach. And for the enthusiastic walker, the hotel is very close to the Dorset coastal path. The room was facing the sea, well furnished and with a modern shower. The hotel is doing its best to improve its internet facilties, and room TV reception can be variable, but this is a hotel where its easy to leave the modern world behind - and simply relax.

We had a pleasant stay at this country hotel. It's really geared up for the mature guest. Some of the decor is a bit dated. We had dinner here on our first night of two, which we had to pre order. Dinner was ok. a bit old fashioned. We had quite a large room, but the bathroom was tiny. The shower cubicle was very small and I could not turn around in it (i'm not huge). The toilet was ridiculously close to the wall. Tea and coffee facilities were good, with a nice coffee machine. It's a short pleasant walk down to the lovely quiet beach. Despite a few minor niggles we would stay here again.

Such a beautiful hideaway with amazing view of the coastline and delightful food. Very good choice of food with a wide range of wine list as we prefer. Well-done Eypes Mouth Hotel team! You absolutely got everything spot on.
