I love fish & chips and that means I know the great ones, from the good ones and the poor ones. Not only does S&E produce excellent fish & chips - light batter, wonderfully fresh fish - but I must also really commend the owners for making the sit down area DOG FRIENDLY. Next to the takeaway is an attractive seating area of 6 tables where you can eat your takeaway free of charge. The lady owner that serves is super friendly and welcoming. We wee staying in the Parkdean opposite the chippy and in our 4 night stay we have been twice! The fish and chips were fresh, seemingly cooked to order and really tasty!!!! Curry sauce was great. The service was polite, friendly and engaging which is a rare gem these days!!! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back when we next visit!!! Thank you ?

We have been here many a time and are prepared to queue, knowing that the quality is worth the wait. This particular evening our 2 haddock and chips were the best ever. Chips to die for and the most succulent flaky haddock was sublime. Can't wait to return. What a treasure on our
