Had a lovely Sunday lunch, one roast beef,one nut roast a pint and half of Christmas ale beside a log fire. Perfect on a wet winters day. Impeccable service.Vegetarian options: Top notch nut roast.
We were very impressed with the Royal Oak. The staff members were very friendly, the food was excellent, my husband had the game pie and I had the beef madras curry both meals were delicious, there is also a good choice of ales. I would definitely go back for another visit. Highly recommend.

Lovely welcoming traditional pub. We only stopped for coffee and dessert but really enjoyed it. Pets are welcome. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food a little pricey but good size portions and tasty.
