“What a beautiful b&b with plenty of history. Owner was very informative about the old tea room and surrounding area. She was also the most amazing host, so friendly, kind and welcoming. Made us feel like we were at home. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of cereals, pastries, yoghurt and then cooked breakfast. The cakes and scones are a must when visiting....tasty!
There is a plaque which says " come as guests leave as friends....we have definitely left as friends.”

“Two visits in two days.
First visit I was served a caramel iced latte when I ordered a standard iced latte. When I took it back to the till to be remade, there wasn’t even a ‘oh sorry’ or similar.. very cold and distant.. almost saw a hint of an eye roll
Second visit, order an iced latte again but ask for it in a takeaway cup. Obviously I was served it in a glass ‘drink in’ cup.. couldn’t be bothered to say anything.
Victoria sponge cake was dry but washed down with coffee…
Communication down the line being improved and cakes being stored better or for less time to prevent them drying out… two small things that would have made a big difference to my experience.”
