Although we have visited this area previously we had never noticed this eatery before and having walked round the shops for over a couple of hours we were starving . It has a TARDIS like structure and was certainly a lot bigger than it appeared once you are inside , the staff member was extremely friendly and even though it was busy managed to find us a table . Looking for somewhere for lunch and spied this place just off the main pedestrianised shopping area. Shown to a table straight away by a friendly waitress. The menu was varied and the breakfast menu was available all day, much to my husband’s delight. He decided to have the ‘full English’ plus toast and I chose the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. We use the Walnut Grove when ever we are in Dorchester, we have found the food to be excellent, the staff can not do enough for you and it's dog friendly. The home made cakes are very naughty!!!
