Have just returned home from a fantastic afternoon at Langham Wine Estate Dorchester. It began with a really superb 3 course lunch served in a rustic environment. This was followed by a brilliant tour of the vineyards and wine making processes. My mum and I visited for a birthday treat and had the most wonderful few hours. Firstly we had a tour with the lovely charismatic Emma, she was really informative and we learnt a lot from her. She is clearly an asset to the Langham and knows her stuff . After a tour of the vineyard and winery we got to taste the wines which are absolutely delicious, we now fully appreciate the process, hard work and planning that goes into every bottle. Such an informative tour. I've been on a few before this but still found I learnt a lot. Emma was a brilliant guide. Food was lovely, the new chef has clearly settled in well and knows the wine!
