I had a cracking full English here (extra Black pudding and Hashbrowns) before a wedding in Mere. Was sorely needed after a lively evening the night before and kept for going for another late night of overindulging. The chaps at The Filling Station couldn't have been more welcoming to a man on his travels in slightly odd attire! Thank you very much!
The pastries and shortbread specialities are an explosion of sweetness and a feast for the eyes and are delicious.Thing is, that's it.Over the last 18months I've tried all their usual café fayre.Only the delights I've waxed lyrical about above are worth going through the door for.
