The Pilot Boat is a local gastropub in the centre of Lyme that offers a blend of good food and a charming atmosphere. Known for its great Fish & chips, the restaurant also serves delicious pizza and calamari, providing fair quality meals for its location. The roof terrace is a lovely spot for drinks and dining, especially in nice weather, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. Despite a slight decline in quality since a management change, the friendly service and clean environment make it a recommended place to visit. Interestingly, the pub has historical ties to the Lassie story, which is not widely recognized.
