Bought a multigrain loaf here and it seems that the recipe of the loaf is exactly the same as what son Mark Bennett Patisserie sells at 10 % extra mark up and I have tried them side by side and they are same same.I also tried their bacon seeded baps and they were very good and a lot less cost than MBP and no fat! So mama still does better sometimes ?The staff serving are very straightforward and helpful and apparently get on well in their environment.
Middle of the road…I know this will seem odd to some, but I don’t think there is another cafe, bakery or bar in this area that doesn’t allow to go in with your dog. This place literally kicked me out!I know it’s not the the ladies that work in the shop that set this policy, but they are the ones left to enforce it.Products are ok. Policies need updating…

This is the OG Bennetts and the best. I've been a customer for over 30 years and love the quality and choice. Proper traditional cakes, bread and pastry snacks all baked on the premises. They used to have lots of branches but they've sadly reduced over the years. Cannot be beaten for fresh baked delicious food served by lovely locals.
