Lord Nelson pub on the quay side in Poole, great old pub, you can only imagine the amount of sailor's and people that have been in here over the past couple hundred years. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a big breakfast, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans and 2 bread and butter for £5, an absolute bargain.
On holiday from Glasgow, we popped in here for a family lunch with our 3 small kids. Everyone was satisfied with the grub!The staff were all very kind and friendly. There was plenty of rock memorabilia and adverts for live acts which made it obvious this is a local centre for live music. 15 of us, adults, dogs and children arrived. WeWere met with a friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. All food came out promptly and hot. It was one of the children's birthday. We had a cake and asked if we could sing to her. They were quite happy for us to do this and even provided plates and napkins for us. What a lovely pub .
