We had breakfast for four of us and it was very pleasant. Although my special of beans on toast with cheese proved incredibly difficult to get.That said the rest of the breakfasts were excellent and it's a lovely venue. They were short staffed and the service was sketchy I would have given a 3 star but the gentleman manager was very apologetic and so I am sure this was just a one off and will improve. We will go back
My husband, Father in law and I had dinner at the Canford on a Saturday evening and Leon served us. We all commented our food was very good and it was served piping hot. The service was exceptional, unintrusive but attentive, the perfect balance.

Had the vegan beetroot wellington, which was exceptionally tasty, & the roast chicken, which was a bit small tbh; could have done with a few more veg (especially spuds and parsnips) especially given the price, but what we had were delicious.
