Bright & airy interior overlooking the water, cosy log fires, friendly & efficient staff, tasty food. Just what we needed for lunch on a cold but sunny January day. Particularly impressed with the vegan options - the vegan sharing platter actually enough for a meal, but I followed with panko fried aubergine with cauliflower truffle purée; my wife’s fish pie was also flavoursome & an excellent helping. Really nice restaurant, located in a lovely place. Staff friendly and quick service. The food is was nice, some dishes did seem overpriced but some more reasonable. Would come back here.
We arrived at Ipm without a booking. We would normally have booked but the week had been exceptionally busy and stressful. It was fully booked but we were offered the cosy lounge by a roaring fire and decided to havea Malbec to plan our return walk home to Bridport. The front of house manager did manage to find us a table and saved the day.
