Rise, West BayLive further along the coast away from West Bay, but regular visitors. We visited the Rise for the first time as a family of eight including two children.
The first thing you notice on entering is the wonderful aroma of food being cooked, I am sure it made it harder to choose from the extensive and wonderful menu.
We all chose differently from the menu and we all cleared our plates, including the children. The courses were plentiful, not just tasters. We kicked ourselves for not trying this restaurant before.

Burton Rd, BridportSunday lunchtime carvery is a must. Super quality meats and vegetables. Service is extremely friendly and prices are reasonable. Lovely setting. You need to book in advance.Parking: Large spaces, which is becoming a rarity these days.

Anchors Aweigh Burger Specialists
10 George St, West Bay, BridportI was just after a humble portion of chips, but after taking one under cooked portion back at another establishment, I asked at Anchors Aweigh if I could have them done extra crispy and Kim was more than accommodating. Delicious chips thank you Kim! Highly recommend!
