“We visited The Coventry Arms for the second time at the weekend. What AMAZING service… the staff are so generous with their time. And the food! We had awesome meals… the gammon egg and chips … EXCELLENT! The fish and chips… absolutely DELICIOUS!! What a perfect way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday evening. Thank you so very much… we will be back soon!”

“Really nice place for a Sunday lunch. Was nice to not be a chain restaurant and very reasonably priced compared to other local restaurants. It was our sons birthday the day we went, I only mentioned it in passing when we booked the table and to his surprise we were greeted with a birthday banner and a cake presented by the waitress, little touches like this really make a difference. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to anyone.

“The food was tasty even though it didn’t always look it. Standard fare but lots of it. We were all full by the end.
We sat out in the garden which was large and not too busy. We did wait quite a long time for our food and asked after it a couple of times. Luckily we had plenty to talk about. I'm not sure how they would cope if the place was full.
When the food came, it was hot and fresh which helped mitigate the wait.
There were some lovely old cars in the car park which we stopped to admire on the way out.
A pleasant pub diner that I'd give another go if I was ever in the area again.”

“Family Sunday lunch here for 7. Food was fab but the staff were the highlight. All of them polite, friendly and super professional. They were super friendly to us and helpful and willing to cater to a few special requests. Whilst we were there they had to deal with a challenging situation which they did so brilliantly.
