Visited several lunchtimes over Christmas. Staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Food above average with many dishes homemade. French Onion Soup worth a special mention. Pub clean and warm. Toilets very good!
Greeted at the door by friendly faces who showed us to our table and orders immediately taken for drinks. Service was very prompt and all dishes were beautifully presented and delicious.Beautiful surroundings and one day we hope to enjoy the outside area. Keep up the good work.

Another great dinner at the Old Inn. Today I had the pork belly, followed by chocolate fondant. Others in the party had the rib tickler burger and the meat feast pizza, followed by the hot chocolate sundae and a Christmas pudding!Everyone loved their food!Someone in the party ordered the side of muddy fries which were delicious, but a meal in themselves.The decor and ambience here are lovely; a proper English country pub. Well worth a visit.
