“We were greeted by very friendly faces. The restaurant was not very busy which was fortunate because seemed short of staff. Our orders were taken quickly but we had quite a wait for the meal. When it did arrive the food was great. All in all a good experience and we would return again.”

“Lovely place and fast and friendly service, the food was ok and simple but tasty, they had plenty vegan , vegetarian and non gluten (bread) options with the sandwiches offered and the coffee and Chai latte (vegan) were really good.We were sitting outside under the tree and we had worms coming down from the top of the tree on the table, that was really upsetting and so unfortunately we left.In terms of the food and service it's great but the tree needs to be professionally treated.”

“Stunning location, beautiful gardens , gorgeous food, very helpful staff . What a lovely house. We attended a family wedding, and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to hold an event/ wedding there!. A lovely walk around the gardens is also a nice thing to do.”

“Great little pub. Went midweek, have been a few times, and had dinner. Great price and quality.Be aware midweek kitchen closes at 7.30pm and pub at 9pm. However highly recommended. This is a quiet pub”

“An amazing experience. I haven't had such delicious food for a long time. Worth every quid, you could tell for the service we got it wasn't expensive. I see that the Minster Arms seems to have undergone a kitchen makeover. The chef did a great job. You could feel it was fresh. The lamb was juicy perfectly cooked just the way I like it! Amazing meat, the prawns thanks to the chilli Butter were equally delicious . There is definitely no pub in the area with such good and fresh food. Highly. recommend to anyone! We will definitely come back here with friends ❤️”

“Excellent food and beer.Ludicrously over priced as everything darn sarf is is of course (even by the standards of someone who lives in Cheshire).Really quirky inside with an excellent large outdoor area. Dog friendly. Good pub.”
