We bought fish and chips last Wednesday as had some visitors and had raved about the fish and chips from here.What a let down- I ordered online at 4.40 to be picked up at 5, order was already kept ready on the side when my partner picked it up. When he got home the chips were stale and cold. It felt like they had refried the left over chips from the afternoon. Some were so chewy and burnt. I really enjoyed my jumbo battered sausage and was served by the young trainee who was very good at his job and very polite. it was quick service and packaged really well. The portion sizes were good value for money. would recommend to anyone who loves a sausage chips

I'm not from the area and was visiting family, but had used this establishment previously several years ago and was more than happy on those occasions. However, having read recent reviews I was a little reluctant to go back this time, but was pleased I did. The staff were friendly enough and the food was cooked well, plentiful and hot. We didn't have fish, which is always the test for any fish restaurant, but we were more than happy with what we had.
