Pubs in Wimborne

“We were greeted by very friendly faces. The restaurant was not very busy which was fortunate because seemed short of staff. Our orders were taken quickly but we had quite a wait for the meal. When it did arrive the food was great. All in all a good experience and we would return again.”

“Been here a few times for drinks and meals . I think what I really like about The Coach and Hoarses is the staff and service . When you walk in they are very attentive and helpful. We had a meal Saturday evening, we didn't book but we're still welcomed in . Food was very good with lovely service . While food was served the waitress also checked we were happy with everything and asking if we had any recommendations on how they could improve there service or food . Really impressed with the quality of customer care which for me goes a long way today . Thank you .”

“All I can say is AMAZING! The pub is very hidden in Wimborne and is very welcoming to not only humans, but to dogs to. The bar lady offered a treat and water to our cocker spaniel. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice and it was great customer service! ??????”

“Impeccable Sharon is the meet and greet server every establishment should have. She's quick , efficient and charming....nothing gets past her when you order. She gets it right first time. The food is equally impressive, we had pizza Flatbread and sticky chicken, which were delicious and all we needed to break our 5 hour journey from Torquay to Eastbourne. We loved our short visit....its now a must for future trips of the same. A lovely looking pub, with a great menu, and friendly on the ball staff.”

“We were in the area and arrived at midday without having booked a table. They kindly fitted us in, and although our table was in the dog- friendly area, it wasn't a problem at all - we're dog-lovers anyway! The service was very friendly and efficient. Great choices on the menu, we opted for the cottage pie and macaroni cheese with chicken/bacon. Good to have a smaller portion option available too. Desserts were good too, lots of "comfort food" options such as syrup pudding, fruit crumbles, brownies. My hubby was in seventh heaven with his choice of clotted cream rice pudding, and my lemon meringue pie was divine. Lovely relaxed atmosphere too. Thank you for a memorable lunch, we wiil return. Ps not surprised to see they won "Pub of the Year" last year. Well deserved.”

“Popped in for lunch and were made so so welcome !!!......real ales, great food, interesting friendly pub, absolutely nothing not to like !! The food (fish finger and bacon/brie sandwiches) was so good we both got carried away and didn't save the dog any but Sheaf of Arrows to the rescue with some dog treats. We would like to thank Karen and Gavin for a most pleasant hour or so in their establishment and well done Lord Cranborne, you've saved a little gem !!!!........Geoff and Lisa.”
