Wonderfully delicious and great value food served by very friendly staff. Special mention to Sarah who looked after our dog so well. We had 2 lots of pie, chips and peas washed down with 2 cups of tea, all for less than £20. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Great friendly people. The toasties and home made chips were delicious. I really appreciated being given a pot of hot water along with my pot of tea, without having to ask for it. Good value and will definitely visit again.

What a lovely welcoming place for lunch on a cold snowy day. A deli with cafe attached. The ladies were super friendly, and kind to our dog who was made very welcome. The food was simple but absolutely delicious - we had a pot of tea and homemade pie and chips. Really reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend to end your Saturday mooch around Barnard Castle perfectly ?
