This location is perfect for a small peaceful getaway. The staff are truly faultless. The day staff and the night staff provide incredible hospitality. The food is simply to die for. I definitely recommend the Frickles. Location is mid tier because its very rural however if driving the town is a small 5 minute drive from this location. Dog friendly!
We stayed overnight as we were going to a function on Bishop Auckland and were part of a group of 16 staying at this hotel. We arrived very early on a Saturday afternoon but were able to go straight to our room. The double room was very comfortable, felt new, and had everything we needed.After the function we came back and settled in the bar where we ordered decent quality snacks and meals.
