Loved it! Initially wasn't keen on seeing a 'spoons' in the market place of my home town on a recent visit (first time in twenty years) but it turned out to be absolutely superb! And Double Maxim on tap! Yeah, full marks.
Nice spoons. The food is exactly what you would expect and it had a pretty chilled atmosphere so depends what your looking for but for a Monday night it was alright. We have been before and will no doubt be back

Large spacious Wetherspoons in the Market Place at Bishop Auckland. Quiet in the mornings for breakfast, but they have some breakfast deals and food deals which other Wetherspoons do not. Staff are pleasant and the food is served fast. My only issue is the heating is not as warm as it should be.
