Can't comment on the food as we've not tried it yet. Did notice a couple of vegetarian options on the menu so we may be back to sample those! Decent G&T, was actually able to just order gin without it being a funky flavour or a super posh variety. And top marks for being dog friendly. Ethel said kudos for having carpet to lie out on!
This inn is on the east side of A688 opposite a large garage. Parking at the side of the inn is limited to about a dozen cars. Booking is recommended if you want a midday lunch. My friends and I were booked in for 1.45pm. When we arrived there was no table available but a waiter soon cleared a table for us. Had a lush Sunday dinner at Top House!! – the place is cozy and warm. The meat was beautiful and the portions were spot-on. The background music was nice and not too loud. Even though we booked last minute, they managed to squeeze us in and the the staff were absolutely lovely, making the whole experience just fantastic. I highly recommend Top House for a delicious and stress-free dining experience!
