“Absolutely love this pub amazing food and cosy atmosphere, plenty of choice on the menu and choice of a carvery if you want it, I drive here especially as I love it that much! All the girls there are Lovley and make the dining experience 5* I look forward to next weeks visit ❤️”

“We were staying in a local Airbnb place for my husbands 60th. We booked online for a party of 7 and were given a large square table in the back corner of the bar which was perfect. We had two small dogs with us and they were happy to be able to sit on the bench seats with us without being told to get down. The staff were all extremely friendly, the food was delicious and there were options for both vegan and coeliac - both needed for our party. Would definitely go back if we were int the area again - thank you for a lovely night”

“The staff are very passionate about their work, very friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the evening meals too! The room was nice and typical of the age with all the classic features. Perfect for a days fishing on the lakes next door.

“We were walking along the derwent trail and called for lunch the pub had a good range of drinks and homemade food which was delicious. It had an open fire and was cozy.

Parking: Very close to the Derwent way path

Wheelchair accessibility: The pub was being renovated so not accessible but I think it will normally be fine”

“We needed new tables and chairs for a restaurant upgrade. We got in touch with Alex at FNE and nothing was too much trouble. He gave us loads of helpful information on the options we had and after making a final decision, gave us a keen price that we we're very happy with.A delivery date was agreed and the team turned up on time, even though we're 50 miles away, and did the job in half a day, so we didn't even have to close for any period of time, no dramas. Brilliant!They even re-covered some old fixed seating to match in whislt here.Thank you Alex and all at FNE, we cannot recommend them highly enough”
