We decided to treat my mother and cousin to The Christmas Day meal that was available this year. From the initial phone call to book the table to the day itself things ran very smoothly, additional help being able to pay for the whole thing in instalments after the initial deposit was paid. First time here, it's a lovely place. Really good food portion sizes, good quality food which also tasted delicious.The staff were really friendly and the place is cosy and warm.

Called in yesterday, on way back from hospital, very welcomed, lovely pint of john smiths, and wine. We had the beef stew and dumpling, and beef dinner. Was on par with The Mill at houghton le spring. Where we normally eat....Hot and Tasty. Meal and drinks came to just over £30.Overall excellent. Nice staff..Tom and Elizabeth Wears.
