I order on Saturday in shop and waited about 30min for my order. When I got home I didn’t get what I paid for . Very let down.The lady on the desk was saying about other order , some delivery over a hour wait.
This is not my nearest Chinese takeaway (delivery) by any means. However, although having tried nearer establishments I keep returning to China Cottage. The quality of the food is exceptional with generous portions and not scrimping on the key ingredients. Don't be put off by premises, as the quality is all behind the swing shutter doors in the kitchen. Another plus is chef and front staff actually read the notes section on internet ordering section.

1st time ordering, over an hour late, food was awful and lukewarm, crispy beef in Peking sauce tasted more lkke sweet and sour, tasteless gravy on chips, if I'd known they were frozen chips and not homemade I wouldn't have gone anywhere near. Very disappointing ?
