Been here many times, the staff are always helpful and friendly. Although the tables seem to be ' sticky', the meals are good and reasonably priced. Parking is good too!!.

Visited for a birthday dinner, I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and came with tasty homemade chunky chips and veg with peppercorn sauce. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner went for the carvery today at 130pm mash lumpy rest of the food was cold Yorkshire puddings were tiny and looked liked they been there ages bringing veg out in ice cream tubs.waitress was walking around on her mobile phone defos gone down hill didn't enjoy it one bit.

Went yesterday for a cavery, rang up first as it was 4.30 just to check but told they were serving till 6. Not much food left were not allowed extra roast potatoes as told not many left, the only vegetable left was a small amount of mash, a couple of carrots which my husband took and literally one piece of brocolli floating around, i have no idea what the guests who were queueing after us were going to eat. I honestly would of expected money off for that kind of service as £25 for some luke warm food, literally meat, mash, yorkshire pudding and gravy .. used to go every weekend, definately wont be going back.

We went this evening..only 4 of us in bar..ordered coffee..chocolate..latte and diet coke....after 15 mins went to the bar and only 3 drinks ready and was told 'give me chance'..won't be back.

Very disappointed, had the carvery Yorkshire puddings were cold, vegetables not very hot. Complained and all the veggies were taken away presumably to be heated. We were not offered any reduction. Will not go again and would not recommend. Used to be good but has gone downhill

On this occasion slightly disappointed.Chose belly pork . Would have preferred meat sliced rather than one big piece.Roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy were perfect. Vegetables not very hotI would return and give restaurant a second chance.Parking: No problem at all with parking
