Bit of a hidden gem, as it's inside the Gala Theatre. Seating is nice as it's inside a large gallery looking out onto the distant Durham hillside. The food was tasty and the staff friendly. Makes for a great place to grab a bite to eat. The specials today covered a coffee or tea and a bap or cake all under ÂŁ4. I had tea and a nicely toasted tea cake with butter and jam. The place was busy and all I could see were happy with their orders. I'll be stopping back in, rest assured....read full review

Lovely coffee, food, staff & space. What's not to love! Morning bacon sandwich special offer great way to start the day :-) Place is near full Monday at 10am so clearly a popular option in Durham city centre. Located inside the Gala Theatre.
