I was staying at the Premier Inn around the corner, and went in the first morning for a breakfast. Toast, poached egg and sausage. very good, except the toast was barely brown, with a single pat of butter. Not enough to cover half of the insipid toast. a bit disappointed. Went back in the 3 evenings I was there, and there was great service. I even got a £2.55 pint for £1.45 due to a mistake by the barman. I pointed he was wrong, but he insisted he was right, So who am I to argue?...read full review

It was full of students drinking coffee while on their laptops and phones. Went to the bar l tryed to order three meals. I couldn't get any of them because the girl behind the bar said that they were running out of food .so we walked out and went to The Slug and Lettuce. We haven't been back since then.

Typical Wetherspoons with a standard menu. Came for a meal prior to visiting the Gala Theatre of which it is ideally placed. Food and drink was quick to arrive and red hot (not always the case with Wetherspoons) one waitress was really friendly and helpful the other was not quite to the same level but hey it’s cheap eats. Overall a decent place to come and eat which looking at some of the other reviews we dropped lucky, however you can only speak as you find!
