Very friendly staff and check-in nice and quick. Room is as expected across all Premiers. Located 2 mins from town centre and although the area is busy, no noise can be heard from room. Good choice of breakfast with all food cooked properly. A stones throw from the castle.
Fantastic location and the rooms are nicely renovated, clean and meet the usual Premier Inn standard we're used to.Parking is easy, in the multi story right behind the hotel and they have a voucher system for a discounted £8 for 24 hours which in the centre of Durham is very fair.Breakfast was great as always, although no decaff tea or gluten free bread, both of which are on the menu and have been available at other Premier Inns.Staff all seem friendly and welcoming.Would recommend...read full review

Great modern rooms, not over priced and in the centre of Durham. Will definitely be staying there againRooms: Very nice large modern roomNearby activities: Less than a minute untill your onto the river and Lane 7 and other bars is just up some steps next to the hotelFood & drinks: Free coffee and crossaints at reception on the morning, never tried the hotel restaurant but there's a weatherspoons just up the steps next to hotel
