Disappointing. The stairway area smells damp. The room (Azzurri) has paper thin walls (we could hear the next door couple arguing for hours), there's a bath at the foot of the bed and the room is over-stuffed with funiture making it difficult to get around and cramping it unnecessarily. The place itself is very charming , we stayed in the garden room , it’s really private and we had a lovely stay but for me the Staff just made it so much more memorable . Wendy was so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble , she Honestly was amazing . Ryan had manners to die for and the lady who cleans (I forget her name , I’m so sorry) was just so lovely . Stayed in the room ‘le jardin ’ I loved it, the hotel was spotless and was decorated beautifully. The staff were very accommodating and couldn’t have done enough for us. The Sunday dinner was also the best one I’ve had.
