To be fair I was on a bar crawl with workmates on 'Mad Friday' so the review is probably not of a normal Friday.Inside carpet was sticky yeurccch! Outside decking was lethally slippery.However staff were quick to get folk served in the right order, prices were exceptionally reasonable and there was no trouble despite it being just before Christmas and everyone full of festive spirit, beer and wine!!It's clearly an honest place - Id rather pay a fair price like they charge here...read full review

The Eden bar.I found the Eden about 2 years ago and return whenever I return to Peterlee as it is across from the Bus station. What I found was a mix of very friendly people combined with a staff that enjoy where they are what they do. The crowd is a good mix between the older and a younger all appear to be welcome. I encourage all when traveling through stop at the Eden Bar and enjoy conversation with the good people of Peterlee. And the drinks are cheap.
