“Staying at the farm campsite and wanted to support local, so I ordered from Cod on the Rocks. Placed the order online, drove a couple of minutes, and it was ready before I’d even thought about my “waiting ages” face. Delicious fish, perfect chips – the most worthwhile short drive you’ll ever make.”

“Great fish and chips, the best in the town. Really nice cod, chips were very crisp and fresh. Haddock was delicate, tasty, line caught and freshly cooked. Children’s box was good value for money.”

“My friends dad works here and I had fish and chips here (sausage and chips) first time a few months ago I really enjoyed it and I’ve had it today and I got sausage and chips with ketchup and the food is absolutely delicious, amazing and Marvellous like restaurant quality but 100x better I would recommend this fish and chips shop to anyone and I really don’t want this place to close down because it’s by far my favourite fish and chips shop I’ve ever been to in my life”

“Went here for lunch yesterday, absolutely superb chippy, fish and chips cooked in Beef dripping soooo tasty, thick bit of fish cooked perfectly with flaku battery, plenty of chips and lovely curry sauce and gray.
Friendly staff.
A definate go to if up North.”

Long Que outside, but goes down really quickly as plenty of polite staff serving.
The fish and chips were beautiful accompanied by some curry sauce.
No card payments excepted. Had to drive around to find a cash point.
Next time I’m in Hartlepool i will definitely be back. I would highly recommend.
