Myself and my husband visited the pub during the time between Christmas and New Year for a meal and a few drinks. We have visited The Tall Ships on a number of occasions and always had a great experience. Out latest visit was no different the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting , this includes the staff who are welcoming and attentive. We booked here for Xmas Lunch, unfortunately it didn't remotely meet our expectations, whilst we understand it is a pub, you are asked to provide your choices a month in advance so one would think they can't get it wrong. Apart from the actual Roast potatoes & Turkey the rest of the Gammon & veg was not good, the starters were very small portions, did not go for the desserts. Went to this place for a change of scenery and to try the food. Staff were pleasant and friendly throughout, food was served in an efficient manner and tasted nice. Good atmosphere without being too over crowded. Will be returningParking: Parking is free but you must register your vehicle when you enter the establishmentWheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on a single level and within the area there is an accessible toilet etc.
