This is the best place for fish and chips, by far. We travel about 16 miles (round trip) because we love it. Batter is light, crispy and golden and chips are always fresh. We eat ours in the car so we have them at their best.
Never had a bad meal from here, staff are very friendly, the fish is always fresh, the chips are chunky and lush, prices have risen due to the depression but hey, haven't they all, hope they go down again as things improve ???

Best fish shop in town atm. Staff are always friendly and food is great. The batter is lovely. You always get decent portions. One portion of chips is enough for 2 people. Had the large fish and it is really big.
