Having been in The Rose & Crown many times before for drinks we had not visited for food ! How foolish have we been - the food is fabulous! Relaxed, not rushed and very polite friendly staff make the visit even more enjoyable. One of our party had the Gammon main course and it was perfect, the rest had mixed meat sunday lunch with seasonal veg and I can say from 1st had experience it was nothing short of fantastic. Party of five we all enjoyed the food, good portions, in fact we were all too full we didn’t have room for dessert. It was full when we were there so obviously very popular. All the staff were lovely and friendly.

Second of many visits. Happened on this place whilst away on business, and I was not disappointed. Food, service and general ambience is really good. I would not hesitate returning nor recommending to others.
