Had lunch at this wonderful pub while visiting the Christmas market. Lovely traditional pub with unbelievably friendly staff. The food was spot on and reasonably priced. My friend had Sunday roast and said it was the best pub roast she had ever tasted. I had scampi and chips, the scampi was succulent and the chips clearly home made. Not sure which Sauvignon Blanc they sell as I didnāt see the bottle but for someone who enjoys their glass if āSavā this was a very enjoyable...read full review
Had a curry. Both the poppadom and naan were coated in sauce, leaving little texture. Rice appeared to be round pudding rice Curry flavour was good, shame it was marred by the above

Visited on numerous occasions with different friends since the new owners took over. Really nice looking pub - they have Tiger too. comfortable place & friendly people each time weāve been. Lads loved the onion rings - fish & chips should be good with crispy batter like that!! Thank you ?
