Booked lunch for my fathers 80th birthday and we were treated brilliantly by Sophie, nothing was to much trouble. She was attentive and made our afternoon a pleasure. My father was even given a little treat from the kitchen staff. A big thumbs up from all of us
Been visiting every year for the past 5 years and always enjoyed the meal. This year was very different. The restaurant was very noisy with many very loud kids; to be fair it was relatively early and this is obviously not the fault of the restaurant, but it still spoilt the atmosphere somewhat. Service was prompt and the food well cooked, However, the menu was restricted (due to 'staffing issues') which basically meant that only the light bites were available. Booked a table for ten people for a Christmas meal for the second year running. On both occasions we have been served by the friendly and very attentive Sophie. Food all arrived together and was served hot.
