The Stirling Castle is a large pub in the town centre. Unlike all the other large pubs that clearly depend on summer trade and were pretty empty, the Stirling Castle was pretty busy that suggests that it is a popular, year round local pub. It is smart and tidy and the service was swift and friendly. I suspect that this is the best pub in the āseasideā part of town.
We visited whilst staying in the local area. We didnāt know what to expect. I had the steak pie, which was absolutely superb and full of meat. My wife had the hunters chicken, which was delicious as well. The view was great upstairs as well, overlooking the harbour. Itās a 10 out of 10 from us. Itās well priced Definitely recommend !!
