Popped in randomly with my brother as they had the football on! Fantastic service the staff was friendly and fun and they created a fantastic atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonabley priced! Will definitely be back!
The Hallgate Tavern is a fantastic pub. There is a traditional front room with bar facing onto the street. To the right of that is another room with the pool table. Further in to the pub is a another seating area and pool table, in a very large room with a long bar and stage at the end for live entertainment. This pub is enormous. Dined here on the recommendation of a friend, it did not disappoint one bit. Fantastic food and service, with portions plentiful. Recommend the cowboy burger!! Will definitely return!!
