Never usually have fish and chips unless I'm at the coast, they are very often a disappointment. The King Fryer is an exception!!! The fish and chips are delicious, the batter is crisp and not too thick. The fish, firm and white. They also make fish patties which are gorgeous. The owner and staff are lovely and the shop is immaculately clean.
A clean shop with friendly service. The portions are generous and the food is of a high quality; I had a delicious scampi and chips with curry sauce (some of the best scampi I've had).We'll definitely be visiting again.

Popped in on chance and boy am I glad.The fish pattie was superb, with fresh slices of potatoe, stuffed with nice white succulent fish in the middle.The fish (although quite small) was very fleshy and fresh and tasty.The chips were just chips but hey....All in all it was a refreshing change to enjoy quality food from a chippy.
