I’m not from the area and, whilst spending the weekend in Thorne visiting family, was recommended to try the fish and chips at Chips and Things. I don’t often write reviews but WOW! The cod was so soft and obviously fresh. The batter was equally soft and delicious. It was all cooked freshly whilst we waited and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Portion size was also tops. Been going for years, even after months of not going its amazing to see the food quality has not changed, brilliant every time, Lydia and Neil run an amazing local business and go above and beyond. They even delivered an order on their home after closing after i ordered late by mistake.....you cannot ask for better service, a true corner stone of the community! Thank you for all your years guys!!

Had one of the best fish n chips today at Moorends Chips n Things. All cooked fresh. Ps I did ask for chips well done and glad I did. Was really crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Top notch ?
