Pizzas lovely. Wedges I sent back, I can't understand why they got sent out really burnt. Service was hit & miss...started off really good but then forgot to ask if we wanted desserts. The ice cream is lush.Would I return...........YES I

I had heard of Bert's from their gelato and wanted to sit in and try a three course meal, I ordered burrata, a spicy prawn pizza and tried 3 scoops of gelato for dessert. Starter was served quickly with tasty foccacia bread and burrata, with main following swiftly. Pizza was hot and actually had a bit of spice which isn't always the case when ordering 'spicy' foods at restaurants. Nice combination of prawns and salami. Having never been to this restaurant, it wasn't originally intended as we didn't want lunch as it was only 11am. The cafe of choice was closed so we decided to try burts. So glad we did, the sandwich and wedges were top quality - so tasty and lots of fresh chicken too. The service was superb, nothing was too much trouble. Nothing bad to say. I would like pasta choice in future but they do have a burts further round that specialises in pasta so we will probably go there.
