A lot bigger than it looks and has a proper pub feel... nice if you're wanting a chilled drink, or taking someone on a date. and the bar staff a really nice. Usually the place you end up chatting with randoms.

Went in for a drink with my partner for the bar staff to say your banned..?.. not done anything to be banned for ..what a joke...get rid of that ella ..she's not giving lion and key or fretwell any credit been going in there years just can't believe this ?

We only came in here as the historic pub close by didn't open until 6pm for some reason. So glad we did as lovely service, great beers and nice atmosphere. Lots of couples in here and women having after work drinks which is always a sign of a classy place. Gents will find the toilets entertaining with goals in the urinals and great anti golf poster... Got a super pinball room if that's your thing. No food but few yards away is the Lion and Key with same owners which is just is great too and does pub food. We will 100% come back to both
