Food is amazing, the king prawns are to die for! Beautiful white flesh with no grit. No shrimps here. Also main meal dishes include chips or rice, making it very good value. We have used this lovely friendly Chinese for over 20 years, and even travel quite a distance as it used to be much better than our local ones. Unfortunately,recently ,the food has been terrible. We tried another couple times in case it was a one off, unfortunately it wasn’t. The staff haven’t changed so we can’t understand what has gone wrong.

The mayflower Chinese is my go-to Chinese takeaway. The food in my opinion is of a high standard and better than some of the other local Chinese takeaways. I have sometimes used the delivery service and the food has always arrived in the time stated and always been exactly as ordered.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: There is a small parking bay outside the shop for three or four cars.
