First time in the Bay Horse after living within walking distance for 5 months. 4 of us Sunday lunchtime, 2 roast beef and 2 beef pies. The food was excellent, nicely cooked, hot and plentiful. The only problem we had was choosing from the extensive menu.The staff were friendly and helpful. They were always nearby if you wanted anything without rushing you or hovering. Good selection of drinks from the bar.Our first time here but certainly not our last.
Small traditional pub in centre of Market Weighton.Varied selection on menu including several fish based dishes.Service was a bit slow considering they were not very busy.The quality of the food and presentation was perfect.Vegatables cooked to perfection.Theakstons beer served at correct temperature.Good selection of desserts but at £9 each not cheap.Prices at the top end for a pub but superb quality food.

My mother and I visit regularly through our summer and it's always been great, but we visited yesterday to try the new menu and all I can say is WOW the garlic butter chicken is absolutely lovely! The service is always speedy and pleasant. We cannot wait to visit again in the new year!!
