The Bay Horse
The bay horse, 75 Market Pl, Market Weighton, YorkWent with family the Saturday before mother's Day, to celebrate. I had the sea bass, with chips and vegetables. This was the best I have had for a long time. 2 large pieces of sea bass with mussels and prawns, served with an array of green beans, samphire and broccoli, cooked to perfection. Very very good.

63 Market Pl, Market Weighton, YorkPrime example of Don't judge a book by its cover..I have passed this cafe by numerous timesFrom the outside, it looks like it needs some tlc. Today, I decided to go and try it out.. Inside, It's clean, tidy, and well presented. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the food is bang on.Definitely don't pass it by... check it out for yourself .. you won't be disappointed

Since moving to the area, we struggled to find somewhere that matches the quality we are used to.Seven Spice hit the mark! Food was hot and full of flavour.I’m not a convert and need look no further. We’ve tried a number from Goole and around this area.Fantastic. Looking forward to our next curry, faith restored!Vegetarian options: I knew what I wanted so didn’t look at the menu but would assume veggie options to be typical of this cuisine style.

The Fiddle Drill
Main Street, Goodmanham, Market WeightonWe were a party of twelve for lunch, we had a fabulous time here. Some of the party were late and the staff were wonderful saying it wasn't a problem at all. The food was fabulous and so fresh, the staff were really helpful too. I do visit here regularly and will continue to do so. I cannot fault it

Unit 1 Southgate, Market Weighton, YorkFirst time visit. Called whilst on a cycle ride. Outdoor seating or seating inside with big windows to keep an eye on the bikes.Good choice of cakes and snacks , reasonably priced too. ??

New Fortune Take Away
67 Market Pl, Market Weighton, York( New fortune/ Happy dragon)My personal experiences with this takeaway have been great! Recently I ordered the teriyaki noodle box and the mushroom chow mein, the value for money you get! Noodle box was very heavy could feed 2- 3 people easily (the beef in this was lovely, tender). The chow mein came in a big round plastic pot, very hot. If the noodles also came in a plastic pot rather than a card one it'd be that even more better. My grandma ordered the beef in black bean sauce with green peppers (she rarely orders takeaway) and gave it a 10/10.

Coffee Cake Create - Pottery Studio & Coffeehouse
5 High St, Market Weighton, YorkHad such a great time here on holiday we came back again! Lovely lady, lovely coffee, fabulous choice of ceramics and very fairly priced. Our second lot of ceramics were posted back to us and were packed well and arrived all in one piece! Would visit again next time in the area.

Southgate, Market Weighton, YorkExtensive menu, slightly more expensive than I am used to at my normal Chinese. Food good quality piping hot and they are happy to remove items from meals if not liked. Staff pleasant.

67 Market Pl, Market Weighton, YorkVisited for first time in many years when visiting family.Warm welcome by lady behind counter and apologised a few telephone orders were ahead of me so ten mins wait.Ordered Singapore Rice box and Crispy Shredded Chilli Chicken. Food arrived as promised about ten mins later. Reasonable prices compared to my local Chinese.Rice box was beautiful, mixed meats etc, nice and spicy. Crispy shredded Chicken was good aswell, lovely chicken, slightly thicker batter than I normally have but still very tasty and sauce was fantastic.Wouldn't hesitate to go back next time in the area.

4 High St, Market Weighton, YorkExcellent takeaway, food was prepared quickly and collected piping hot. The curries tasted lovely and the staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely be returning for another take away in the future.

The Italian Job
Unit 3 High St, Market Weighton, YorkGot a family size kebab delivered to Pocklington from their shop in Market Weighton and the food was still piping hot and delicious. I used to get my kebabs from there when I lived there so thought I’d give them a try and pay the extra delivery charge and wasn’t disappointed. Thank you staff
