Stumbled upon this place for an afternoon drink. A very traditional pub, inside and out. A very traditional landlord too. Staff were absolutely the best, we were all made to feel very welcome. So much so, that we returned on Saturday evening and sampled kareoke night, great fun. We came back for Sunday lunch, which was absolutely amazing and great value for money. Just started doing Sunday lunches last weekend, thought we would give it a go and we really enjoyed the food, just could have been more vegetables as one bowl for 4 people wasn't enough, but apart from that all good give it a try.

We only stayed locally for one night passing through,but what a pub,the atmosphere was great both from behind the bar and the locals,we will 100% be returning ASAP and will be telling all our friends they must call in at the Cross Keys.
