Lovely camping area with plenty of space along the Riverside, Staff are lovely & polite & helpful.The food was amazing & reasonably priced, too.I had the Steak filled Yorkshire pudding, which was delicious, and the steak was so tender.Also had the chicken gougons with chips & and peas, which were also very tasty.My brother highly recommends the lasagna, which he says was delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible through the main door.
Great beer. Didn't stay to sample the food as we were just passing, really friendly staff and a very busy campsite on the banks of the Derwent. Great setting as well, although might be a bit grim in winter. Oh and we saw a swallow feeding her young.

Came here last weekend for Yorkshire Trikes rally. Back again 8th a day 9th September for FREE Trikes rally. Excellent atmosphere, Great live music. Fantastic....and literally on my doorstep xx
