Went for lunch as was working in Withernsea for the day. Went on the reviews and this shop came up as highest in the area.I am so glad we went, this place reminds me of being a kid and going to chippy with my Grandma, old school and amazing fish and chips. The chap behind the counter was lovely and really knows his stuff. The fish is without a doubt the best I've had in a longtime and accompanied with chips and mushy peas which were delicious. Good old school chippy. Food was good but only negative experience was the cash only option. There is a sign on the door but this is displayed behind you when you walk in. Would recommend a cash only sign on view at counter side making it more visible.

Visited this superb fish and chip shop the first time for over 20 years on 4 March. What a revelation it turned out to be. Beautiful haddock cooked to perfection and chips just as I like them, not chips that look like dry oven chips but chips as they used to be. I will be going again tonight, they even smell as they should unlike lots of modern day chippies.
