A friend treated me to a birthday meal at The Denbigh and we were delighted with the warm welcome, the lovely 'proper pub' ambience (no noisy music and many interesting items on the walls etc) and the food which was sublime and also beautifully presented.Vegetarian options: A modest but excellent choice of vegetarian dishes. Visited for a Sunday roast. Overall was OK. Very young waitresses, some have more experience than others, all very sweet and trying their best. We were seated at the top of the pub, with all the miss mash stuff. Left over valentines decorations aswell as Christmas. Plastic table cloths, not very welcoming. Pile of something in the corner with a blanket over it... Wouldn't take much, replacing the carpet, lick of paint and a declutter.
